This was one of the first projects on rustic ground that architecture GMM developed. We are specially connected to this project not only because of the client (who, still 12 years after this project, continues to entrust us with his projects), but also because of the significance that it supposed to our studio back then, since it helped us gain relevance in the area of Manacor.
It is a traditional house, divided in two floors in order to emphasize the views of the hill where it is located. Its “L” form allows us to develop the programme in two different areas, day area and night area, giving special importance to the living space which still allowed us to design big suite bedrooms with astonishing views.
Its north-south position allows the implementation of the typical Majorcan demesne for the access point and the porch towards the south, with views to the swimming pool and the town. The Majorcan stone is predominant in the house, both in the interior and exterior areas, and also in the majestic garden made of Majorcan stone walls that stagger in order to smoothen the slope of the plot.
